Hello, Farragutful! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Hi! Thank you for your update of Davenport. Regards, jan (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wow—phenomenal work on the Quad Cities! It's very gratifying to see such fabulous work being done by a new contributor. --Peter Talk 01:20, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
By the way, I don't know what your plans are with those articles, but you might want to look at Wikivoyage:City guide status. Both Davenport and Rock Island are fairly close to "guide" status, and with some more slaving away, you could even aim for an eventual star nomination. All up to you and how much editorial stamina you have ;) --Peter Talk 01:23, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I've done work on Wikipedia on the QCs and other topics so I know my way around a little bit. I was going to look into the whole status thing as I don't quite have a handle on that yet. I wanted to add more more content first and maybe organize it better. Farragutful (talk) 15:13, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Page banners edit

Hello Farragutful! I noticed you've added quite some pretty page banners in the last weeks. I am sorry this remained undiscovered for a while, but you are probably not aware of some rules regarding the size (ratio, resolution) of the banners. The ratio needs to be 7:1 (exactly). Please check Banner Expedition and let me know if you need some further explanation. --Danapit (talk) 14:57, 29 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
