Benton

Hi, Jakec. I noticed your edit to Coal Region to remove Benton (Pennsylvania). I'm afraid I had to revert it, as simply removing the link from the Coal Region article doesn't actually remove Benton from the region. Coal Region was still in Benton's breadcrumb trail. Worse, since you didn't add Benton to any other region, the article was left orphaned, with nothing linking to it.

I don't personally know anything about Benton, but if you know what other region it should go in instead, please bring it up on Talk:Poconos and Endless Mountains (or Talk:Pennsylvania if Benton is somewhere else in the state entirely).

@LtPowers: Apologies, as I have made only a handful of edits here, I don't know much about the policies. However, as a resident of the general area, I know that Benton is a good 20 or 25 miles north of the Coal Region. I moved it to Alleghenies and Susquehanna Valley, which is definitely a better fit, as it's much closer to Bloomsburg, Berwick, and other river towns than it is to the Coal Region. I'm afraid I don't know how to fix that "North America > United States of America > Mid-Atlantic > Pennsylvania > Poconos and Endless Mountains > Coal Region > Benton (Pennsylvania)" thing at the top, can you please explain to me how to do that? Great, I'm glad you're learning your way around. However, I'm confused -- our Alleghenies/Susquehanna region is southwest of the Poconos/Endless Mountains region. If Benton is north of the Coal Region (a subregion of the Poconos/Endless Mountains), how can it be in the Alleghenies/Susquehanna region? Powers ^(talk) 18:16, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

According to the Alleghenies and Susquehanna Valley region page, it includes Columbia County, which Benton is in. I based it on that. Also, to clarify my comment: Benton is in fact north of most of Pennsylvania's coal-mining region, but it's actually west of the Northern Middle Anthracite Field (where Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, etc. are located).
