Hello, Lbeaumont! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. Links to Wikipedia edit

Thank you for your good edits! I wanted to quickly point out that there should only be one link per page to Wikipedia, per Wikivoyage:Links to Wikipedia—the interwiki link at the bottom of the page, which produces a sidebar link. --Peter Talk 22:34, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Got it, thanks--Lbeaumont (talk) 22:38, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Co-ordinates edit

Those are a new feature & I do not yet know how to use them, so I cannot help much. I think most were added by a bot; see Wikivoyage:Script_nominations#The_Anomebot2. Perhaps it is still running and will insert co-ords whee you need them. I don't know.

Looking at Xiamen, I see a tag down at the bottom {{Geo|24.4|118}}. That gives N lat and E long; Rio de Janeiro has {{geo|-22.9094|-43.215}} for S and W. Pashley (talk) 22:52, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Looking at Xiamen I see the tag you are describing in the code, but I don't see its effect appearing on the page. What does that tag do? Thanks. --Lbeaumont (talk) 23:38, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
