Hello, Lucerne-Tourism! Thank you for contributing to Wikivoyage, but please note that one or more of your recent edits has been reverted as it appeared to be an attempt to use this site to advertise or promote a business or service. Wikivoyage is created by travellers for travellers, and while business owners and employees are welcome to contribute, use of this site for promotional purposes is not allowed.

If you feel that your edits were incorrectly identified as promotional, please read Wikivoyage's guidelines on identifying promotional edits. If, after reading that guideline, you still feel your edits were incorrectly removed, please use this talk page or the talk page of the article where your edit was removed to explain why your change was not promotional. Note that it is very important that you discuss your proposed change before re-adding it since repeated promotional edits can lead to a temporary block of your account's ability to edit Wikivoyage, and in serious cases the business in question may be blacklisted from Wikivoyage. Dear Ibaman. We tried to give the readers a tip how they can visit Lucerne with a free app which gives them more information about Lucerne. It's up to you if its a commercial information. We do not earn anything with the app. We produced it on our own cost and it's for free for everyone.Lucerne-Tourism, 16:27, 12 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't doubt your good faith, however, per policy, Wikivoyage does not "link" to other travel guides. Its purpose is to be its own self-contained online travel guide. As an admin, I must act based on policy all the time. The community must develop a consensus about this app and its link. Please argue your case on the Talk:Lucerne page. Thanks for understanding. Welcome, Lucerne-Tourism! I just looked at your edit. Its tone is not in keeping with this site's don't tout guidelines. Please have a look at Wikivoyage:Welcome, tourism professionals. We're delighted to have you here, but as Ibaman says, all Wikivoyage users need to operate within site guidelines. One thing I notice is that there is no listing for the Lucerne tourism office. You can certainly list your office in Lucerne#Understand. Is https://www.luzern.com/en/ the official website of the city government's tourism office?
