San Jose, California edit

Hi. I reverted your redirect, as accents aren't standard in the names of American cities, without any exception I can think of, and certainly not San Jose. If you were writing in Spanish, you might use the accent, but this is English-language Wikivoyage.

If you feel strongly about this, I suggest that you make an argument at Talk:San Jose (California) and see if you can get a consensus behind your opinion.

Best,

As Ikan noted above, the city of San Jose in the state of California is not referenced using accents. See WV:Naming conventions for the official site guidance, which states that the name in most common use should be used. In this case that name is "San Jose", not "San José". As Ikan noted, you are welcome to discuss your concerns further at Talk:San Jose (California). -- Ryan • (talk) • 16:37, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
