Shavisdonovan
Hello Shavisdonovan! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub notes → Article status notes
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
Please use User:Shavisdonovan as your user page, where you can introduce yourself to other Wikivoyagers. You may not create any article about yourself, as this is a travel guide, not a guide to individuals. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:37, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- The templates you designed or moved from Wikipedia that follow Wikipedia policies in conflict with Wikivoyage ones or irrelevant to Wikivoyage, such as those about "Unsourced or contentious material about living persons", are also extremely likely to be deleted, but will go through the Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion process. I hope you are here to edit a travel guide. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:39, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- See Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion#Templates added by User:Shavisdonovan and comment if you have any argument to make that these should not be speedily deleted because of some Wikivoyage policy I'm unaware of, after years of being an admin here and a user before that. - Stop recreating that page now, or you will be blocked indefinitely! Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:49, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- Nevermind. I see you're permanently blocked on Wiktionary for repeatedly spamming for years. Goodbye! Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:57, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
