Shortcut: WV:NCM Welcome to the maintenance section of the Nigeria café. This is a place to discuss all the maintenance related issues like wrong coordinates, templates and listings or really, anything to do with the template space. However, this doesn't include pagebanners. Pagebanner issues go on WV:NC and not here. Template related pagebanner issues should go onto the pub, and this section is mainly for individual article's template problems (like mentioned above). To see the archives, please visit the archive for the month you are looking for. For example, Wikivoyage:Nigeria café/Maintenance/Archives/2021/June archives June 2021. Archiving is done automatically after one month for a discussion. There is also a page with links to archives; see Wikivoyage:Nigeria café/Maintenance/Archives. Articles with incorrect coordinates: 3 - This includes all articles, but this is just a handy link if needed.

Template:Wrongcoordinates

I have created this experimental template because there have been some odd technical glitches with coordinates some of our Nigerian articles contain. Bonny Island is a good example. I'm not sure why this occurs, but because the traveller comes first, in my opinion we need add these templates to articles with wrong coordinates until the correct coordinates are found. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 17:58, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

@SelfieCity: there's a similar issue with Damaturu where all the coords are 11.7987, 11.9662. Maybe Bonny Island is one of them but I haven't checked since my lockdown Wi-fi is tediously slow. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | en.wikipedia) 00:46, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

The issue with Bonny Island was the coordinates for latitude and longitude were switched. Two were, clearly, wrong in some other way. But still there couple be instances where this template would be useful. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 00:52, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
