Saint Quentin Fallaiver/ Dammartin

I am going to visit these two locations in the next month, are they safe? I am especially going to the terror attack sites. Asked by: Lottolads (talk) 15:26, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to a website about tourism in france: "UPDATE 2015 - Is it still safe to visit France or Paris after the terror attacks of 2015? Yes. France is as safe as any other country, and safer than most. And Paris remains a generally safe city, in spite of the murderous terror attacks of this year.

In the wake of the sickening terror attacks, it is natural to feel threatened if you feel for Paris. The world grieves for the 129, mostly young, people who were gunned down as they enjoyed a Friday night out. It could have been anyone.
But fortunately, terrorist attacks like those of Friday 13th are not common occurrences. If they were, the world's media would not make them into worldwide headline news...... any more than they do for the 2800 people who die in traffic accidents in the USA each month , or around 300 who die in traffic accidents in France each month.
If we put these figures another way, the risk of getting killed in a traffic accident in the USA is about 50 times greater than getting killed in a terrorist attack in France.
That doesn't make the terror attacks any less barbarous, nor the grief for those who died or were maimed any less real. But it is a point worth reflecting on." 199.19.248.76 01:00, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, the two places mentioned are faceless industrial suburbs with no attractions to speak of. The two attack sites are generic warehouses indistinguishable from any others in the surrounding area. Basically, there is not going to be a lot to see there. --Xuxl (talk) 09:05, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why is your contact telephone number so hard to reach anyone? USA

I'm sorry, we have a contact phone number? That's news to me.
At any rate, the best place to reach somebody is probably at the pub.

The OP might have confused Wikivoyage itself with some company mentioned in one of the articles. JIP (talk) 13:32, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
