- Web search for "pilot training" will turn up dozens of sites. Here's one for the US:
- Two things you need are excellent eyesight & good English. I think the training is often both difficult & expensive. You might get training free by joining your country's Air Force, but would they choose you as a pilot?
- There are different categories of pilot license, private pilot vs. commercial pilot, extra qualifications needed for multi-engine aircraft or for flying using the instruments in bad weather. In Saudi Arabia I met several pilots who needed a certain number of hours on multi-engine planes before they could even apply for training on the big aircraft that major airlines use; they were getting their hours by flying business jets.
