  • No content (WT-en) –sumone10154 20:03, 30 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Delete. This appears to be a mis-placed attempt at an image page. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 22:52, 1 May 2012 (EDT)
  • Redirect to São Jorge --(WT-en) Inas 23:43, 1 May 2012 (EDT)
    • That redirect does not work; it goes to a town in Brazil. We may need a disambiguation page.
    • Certainly this needs the image removed, but Sao Jorge (Azores) seems to be a real place and , so unless someone wants to fil out the article soon, it needs a redirect to Azores for now. (WT-en) Pashley 22:05, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

Result: Redirected to Azores. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 16:09, 2 June 2012 (EDT)

  • No content (WT-en) –sumone10154 20:03, 30 April 2012 (EDT)
    • This is a stub and appears to be an actual place. Why do you say "no content"? (Also, no VfD tag was placed on this article). (WT-en) LtPowers 09:06, 1 May 2012 (EDT)

  • No content (WT-en) –sumone10154 20:03, 30 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Keep - I've boosted the article significantly in an effort to save it from deletion. Please take another look, as it's much better now. (WT-en) JamesA >talk 02:46, 18 May 2012 (EDT)
    • Keep this and all the others proposed with "No content" as a reason for deletion. That is not a reason for deletion according to Project:Deletion policy.
    • Many of the others should be redirected, but this one is a simple keep. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) Pashley (talkcontribs)

  • Delete. An article for a gated community in Savannah, Georgia. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) Eco84 (talkcontribs)
  • Keep. While the article currently reads like an advertisement, it looks like a valid destination and is a place that people might want to visit (their web site indicates that visitors can purchase passes), so I'm not sure there is anything in the deletion policy that would justify a deletion. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 13:02, 22 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Keep the article needs a lot of work but The Landings looks like a 'real' place (at least by the What is an article definition). Someone needing several layers of insulation from reality may appreciate knowing about it. Places are available for short term rent (nightly, weekly) making it definitely a valid tourist destination. (WT-en) Travelpleb 03:07, 24 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Comment: If we do keep the article, perhaps move it to Skidaway Island (see: Wikipedia:Skidaway Island, Georgia), where the community is located, to broaden the scope? (WT-en) Eco84 17:33, 24 April 2012 (EDT)
    • I'd support this proposal, particularly since there may not otherwise be any other good place to put information about the surrounding area outside of the "Landings" private community. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 19:53, 25 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Move/merge to Skidaway Island. Bingo! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:43, 25 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Merge & redirect to Skidaway Island. (WT-en) Pashley 21:55, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

  • Delete. Orphaned image of Venice rooftops. In a city with so much beauty it's tough to imagine a use for this image in a Wikivoyage article, and at just 226x148 it's too small to be of much use even if it was of a usable subject. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 18:33, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

  • Delete. Orphaned image. The original image might be salvageable if someone wants to de-orphan it, but the current version has a weird yellow border effect that (IMHO) makes it un-usable in a travel guide article. Delete as an orphaned article per Project:Deletion policy#Reasons to delete images. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 00:14, 28 May 2012 (EDT)

Result: Deleted. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 18:33, 10 June 2012 (EDT)

  • Delete. While this is marked "usable", it appears to simply be an an outline. It doesn't look like there's anything to merge, and since it's been more than one year since the last substantial edits this article is subject to deletion. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 01:22, 10 April 2012 (EDT)
  • Get a diver (Peter?) to check if there is anything worth merging into Scuba diving, then delete. (WT-en) Pashley 23:15, 11 April 2012 (EDT)
    • I don't see anything that needs merging. Could you merge any content that you are concerned about so that this vfd can be resolved? Alternately, if anyone else could comment it would allow this nomination to move to a resolution. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 22:35, 22 May 2012 (EDT)

  • It's a Basque folk instrument, a sort of flute. The article on Vitoria-Gasteiz has mention of the instrument. Whether it should be deorphaned, I have no strong opinion. This image seems to be a previous version of the image used on Wikipedia, so its loss will not dent the world's digital documentation of obscure instruments. • Delete. A low-quality image of a citrus fruit, currently only used in the Perak (Malaysia) article. Should pomelo, common throughout South East Asia, be considered worthy of inclusion anywhere in Wikivoyage, there is a much better image on Wikimedia Commons with Creative Commons licencing that is used on Wikipedia. However, I don't think a nondescript non-entity like pomelo deserves any mention on this site.(WT-en) Travelpleb 01:29, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
  • Provided this image is removed from the Perak article then the image would be orphaned and deletion would be appropriate in accordance with the deletion policy. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 01:34, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
  • Delete this jpeg and substitute the other image. Perak, and especially the region around Ipoh, is famous throughout Malaysia for its pomelos, which are considered to be of high quality. Pomelos may be common in other parts of Southeast Asia, but not in other parts of the Malay Peninsula, so a picture of a pomelo is definitely appropriate for the Perak article. (WT-en) Ikan Kekek 01:39, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
  • I'm with Ikan on this one. I'd never heard of pomelos until I travelled to SE Asia. (WT-en) Pashley 01:49, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
  • Speedy delete - there's now a nice picture with the same name on Wikivoyage Shared, so getting rid of this file will bring the new picture into all the Wikivoyage articles needing pomeloes. (WT-en) Travelpleb 09:19, 31 May 2012 (EDT)

  • This is the higher resolution version. Can we keep this and delete the other? That seems to be the intention of the uploader (WT-en) Ravikiran 02:34, 4 June 2012 (EDT)
    • They are both showing as "768 × 1024 pixel, file size: 94 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg" for me, so I think they are the same size and resolution. The original upload of Image:Paris-eiffel-tower.jpg shows a file that is 11kb, but the higher resolution version was then uploaded as a new version of that file on 5-Feb-2005. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:00, 4 June 2012 (EDT)

In addition, per Project:Using Mediawiki templates#New_Mediawiki Template proposals new templates should be discussed prior to creation, and this one was not discussed. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 10:57, 4 June 2012 (EDT)
