Why no "Buy" and "Sleep" sections? --Saqib (talk) 10:41, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Because per policy, individual listings for e.g. hotels or shops don't belong in region articles, but should go into city-articles. See Wikivoyage:Region article template. Eat and drink in region articles are meant for general descriptions of local cuisine and such. JuliasTravels (talk) 11:37, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Got it! --Saqib (talk) 11:40, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Maybe it would be a good idea to have a buy section. In some regions there are special things like souvenirs etc. that you can buy only in that region. However the types of accommodation to choose from usually varies very little between regions. ϒpsilon (talk) 12:12, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Agree above. --Saqib (talk) 12:20, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
I think we should be very wary of including more sections in the standard template. Many regions are already very underdeveloped and it would create yet another (in most cases empty) section. Many regions will have local produce which people can also buy. But those are already mentioned in Eat and Drink, usually. What would be better, imho, is include the option to add a buy section in the explanation of the template, so people can add it - but only when there's really something interesting to say. If you need a section that isn't in the standard template go ahead and it to the relevant article. The problem with having the default region template include a "Buy" and "Sleep" section is exactly as JuliasTravels described, so they were removed a long time ago and are now added back in only when needed for a specific region (see also Wikivoyage:Article templates#What are all the possible section names that can be in a destination article, and their correct order?). -- Ryan • (talk) • 16:30, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

template:County skeleton edit

hi, i need template:County skeleton format for create iranian county pages, thanks Florence (talk) 18:33, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Florence! I think this is what you are searching for.
Ps. - for future reference - the Wikivoyage:Tourist Office is a place for asking about tourist destinations themselves ("Are there good sushi restaurants in London?"). Questions like yours are better asked in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub. ϒpsilon (talk) 18:44, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here you can find a complete overview the templates we use for destinations. If we make an article for a region, province, county, prefecture, special administration area etc. - anything which is (1) an area smaller than a country and (2) itself contains "lowest level destinations" like cities, towns, national parks etc. - we use that very same region template. I think you can, as you doesn't seem to have changed them very much (but you should probably keep them in your own user space as for now). Have a look at Wikivoyage:Article templates#FAQ. Generally speaking we prefer to keep the standard templates roughly as they are unless we have a good reason for an exception. ϒpsilon (talk) 19:49, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
