If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

• NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
• be bold → plunge forward
• Village pump → travellers' pub
• External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
• sandbox → graffiti wall
• stub notes → Article status notes

region name changes

Please note that if you change the name of a region on English Wikivoyage you should also edit the ispartof destination of all the pages in that region as well as create the category using the small icon at the bottom of one of the city pages. Hello. I'm writing this message to let you know that I am proposing that the Ahvaz County article that you created by copying the intro verbatim from w:Ahvaz County - a no-no here (see Wikipedia for explanations) - and the rest verbatim from Ahvaz be speedily deleted. Hi there. Welcome to Wikivoyage! It's great that you're contributing. About the Ahvaz County article; what you should try to focus on, is to add information that is not yet in our article about Ahvaz, and also shouldn't be there. Possibly there isn't enough information like that available. If so, the county article might be deleted (as we don't want doubles), but please feel free to help build up the Ahvaz article first. Mashhad Airport article

Hi. You probably aren't aware of this, but Wikivoyage does not envision separate articles for every airport in the world: See Wikivoyage:Airport Expedition. I think it's very unlikely that there's a good justification for a separate article for Mashhad Airport, given that it is covered in only a short paragraph in the Mashhad article, so if you don't object, I will simply turn Mashhad International Airport into a redirect to Mashhad (if you do object, I'll propose that solution at Votes for deletion and it'll almost definitely be approved, anyway). I'd observe that even Imam Khomeini International Airport, undoubtedly by far the one serving the most passenger traffic in Iran, is covered in a very brief segment of the Tehran article, so at present, it's highly doubtful that any of the airports in Iran requires a separate article. I notice that Mashhad is not on the en.wikipedia lists of the world's busiest airports, and I wouldn't expect it to be. But when I ask a question like whether you've looked at some of the existing airport articles for reference, that means Wikivoyage airport articles. Also, sorry, but I don't read Farsi.

I'm going to give you a little time to do what you can with this article, though I can't speak for others, and if someone does nominate the article for redirection, you should have a good argument for keeping it ready to go at Vfd. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:14, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

Have you visited the Wikivoyage:Airport Expedition and looked through its talk page yet? Airport articles are only for large, complicated airports that need them. Therefore, a stub airport article is not OK on this site. I'm not in a rush to redirect your article, but what I would suggest is, if you aren't going to develop the article much for a while, move and redirect it for the time being to your userspace, as a subpage of your user page, then edit and expand it at your leisure here until it's ready to be moved back into articlespace.
