Nokogiriyama edit

The cliffs at Nokogiriyama are in the Nihonji temple complex (http://www.nihonji.jp/). Geopolitically, that is all in the Awa District, which is also home to the port town of Kanaya. This port town is mostly notable because there's a ferry from it to Kanagawa. Well, it seems like we need a page. Right now there's nowhere to put this information. Should it be a page just for Kanaya, since Nokogiriyama is very close to there? Should it be for the Awa District as a whole? --Orcrist (talk) 14:51, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Merging cities into Boso Peninsula edit

I would like to propose merging many of the cities on the boso peninsula into a single Boso Peninsula rural area. This is cause all of the cities on the Boso Peninsula are outlines and don't have many tourist attractions. Most of the peninsula's attractions are rural such as Nokogiriyama and the Boso Flower line. Kisarazu, Katsuura and Onjuku would be the merged pages. It sounds like a good idea, but it is hard to evaluate without know which cities you want to merge. Which cities do you mean? Ground Zero (talk) 02:38, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Kisarazu, Katsuura and Onjuku as I stated in my last sentence. Tai123.123 (talk) 02:39, 19 April 2022 (UTC-)
My apologies. It is late and I should go to bed. I don't know how I missed that. Ground Zero (talk) 03:26, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
LGTM though it would be a pity for the banners in Kisarazu and Katsuura to be no-longer used. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 02:41, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Kisazaru's banner could become the banner for Chiba (prefecture), Katsuura could replace the Boso Peninsula's current one Tai123.123 (talk) 03:03, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
That would be an ideal solution. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 03:31, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Tai123.123 Also, while I have it in mind, when you've finished regionalizing (or rural areaifying, if that's a word) the Boso Peninsula article, let me know (by pinging) so I can move Boso Peninsula to Boso Peninsula (Japan) without a redirect to make way for the new rural area article in your userspace. Ok, thanks. I've been very busy as of late so It will probably be a while before I finish it Tai123.123 (talk) 14:10, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
No need to rush it – real life always comes first. I just mentioned it now as I had it in my mind, so I just mentioned it before I forgot about it, but take your time. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 14:17, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
