Large items edit
There was a section on large items, now included in the How much should you pack? intro, but it did not really handle the issue. How easy is it to get bikes, skis and guitars transported? I guess there may be problems at least when several airlines are involved. I once read an article on getting a large accordion fit the carry-on luggage rules, involving use of a garment bag. I suppose there are other flyers having similar problems and advanced tricks for handling them. --LPfi (talk) 09:05, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
Guide and FTT? edit
Here's another pretty extensive usable article, that might not be far away from guide status and nomination for Featured Travel Topic.
The article's formatting isn't that reader-friendly with few subheadings, but instead plenty of bullet points and bold and italic text. The article could perhaps also use some more photos to give it some color. But is there other than that anything important that's still missing? ϒpsilon (talk) 05:57, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

Unsanitary tea? edit
After JsfasdF252's edit, we now say:
- "tap water (as well as tea and coffee made from that water) on the plane may be unsanitary".
Isn't the tea and coffee on board made from safe water? I suppose that the flight attendants don't use the toilet tap for brewing coffee, and bringing some clean water shouldn't be too difficult. Are people brewing their own coffee (how)? Is the parenthesis about a real problem?

- Here are three sources that have different points of view on the subject: 1, 2, 3. You'll find more in a web search. Whether the unbottled water (ergo, also coffee and tea) on planes is potentially unsafe or just maybe gross but not dangerous has been a topic of discussion for a long time. It's a valid discussion topic, but few people actually get sick from things they drink on planes. I drink tea on planes and have never had a problem, but I think JsfasdF252's remark is legitimate.
