Usable? edit

Can this be promoted? If not, what else does it need?

I note that it lacks nearly all the headings in Wikivoyage:Itinerary article template. Pashley (talk) 08:56, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Destinations edit

"Siege of Gaza" is not a destination but Gaza is, so why don't we list the real destination? Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:19, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree so I changed it. WP and wikidata links are to the siege, which I think is correct. Pashley (talk) 14:37, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, seems fine for context. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:39, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Guide? edit

I just bumped this from Outline to Usable.

It actually looks like Guide to me, though I have not reviewed the criteria to be certain. What do others think? Pashley (talk) 14:15, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

there is one red link, really unsightly, I don't know if it's best to remove the brackets, or create the page. Aside this, it's surely more complete than, say, Voyages of James Cook, which is Guide already. Ibaman (talk) 14:22, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
At a quick glance, I think the Understand section seems quite short. Ypsilon (talk) 14:43, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I fixed the redlink by removing the brackets. If someone wants to restore them & create an article, that's fine too but WP says Charonea population is only 1500 so it seems unlikely. Pashley (talk) 14:51, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I also reckon the content of listings imported from Roman Empire, namely Pella and Tyre, have not been updated and are somewhat out of context. The listing of Kandahar, which I remember having added, could benefit of some beefing-up as well. Ibaman (talk) 15:26, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I edited Tyre and Kandahar but had nothing to say for Pella. Pashley (talk) 02:57, 23 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
There have been some edits since this was last discussed. I think it could now be promoted. Other opinions? Pashley (talk) 08:15, 4 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
