Alternate banner for this article edit

- The current banner is not a valid banner. It is not 7:1. The alternate banner also is not a valid banner because it is less than 1800 pixels wide. --FredTC (talk) 11:23, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- I see that the banner has now been replaced by a banner that is not >1800 pixels wide, making it a not valid Wikivoyage banner. I think a new banner page should be made that is 7:1 and >1800 pixels wide. --FredTC (talk) 12:16, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- I cropped another image from commons:Category:Innamincka, South Australia that could be made >1800px. Only a few images in that category can be cropped with a >1800px result. --FredTC (talk) 18:56, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

- Yes, nr 1 does not look beautifull, but it shows something similar to what I see using Street View at the beginning of the track (see: here). It can also be expected that dust clouds can occur there. So, being not beautifull, it does show what one might expect to experience over there. But maybe you can find a better image when you look at this: c:Category:Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. It is one of the categories of nr 1 and has many images that can be cropped into a nice looking pagebanner. --FredTC (talk) 09:32, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- @SHB2000 By selecting 1 . from c:Category:Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, you selected one that is over 100 km south of Lyndhurst. Maybe you should try to locate a photo closer to the track from that Commons category. --FredTC (talk) 11:22, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Reason to drive this track edit
What's missing from this itinerary is a remark about why you would want to take it. I suppose there's much beauty to be seen, but something should be mentioned. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:00, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
