- That is it part of the same township is not determinative. Townships are like sub-counties in places like New York and New England, and can include several different destinations. However, I'm OK with this merge on other bases. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:21, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

- Support. NYS hamlets rarely merit their own separate articles. TripAdvisor does list a guest house, so if anybody can be bothered to add it (I'm certainly not), it can meet Wikivoyage:What_is_an_article?#The_test_for_destination-style_articles, but will still be rather sparse. --Nelson Ricardo 2500 (talk) 04:51, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- I don't agree with your claim about hamlets in New York State. Oyster Bay, Childs, Katonah, Randolph (New York), Plainview (New York), Montauk, North Pole (New York), Stony Brook, the list goes on. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:33, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Those are at least somewhat developed. This is still a stub. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 05:38, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- My point isn't to disagree with the merge proposal but the claim that it's uncommon for a hamlet in New York State to merit its own article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:40, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Gotcha. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:44, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- I did say "rarely merit". Perhaps I should have said "often don't merit". At any rate, I didn't say "never merit". Chappaqua came to mind as I wrote the comment. (Side note: how many valid hamlets are not census-designated places? w:West Lebanon, New York has no population [or much other] data, nor can I find West Lebanon at https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/.) - I realize it's a side issue, but I don't think it's very rare in New York for hamlets to merit their own articles, and some places designated as hamlets aren't even very small. But often don't merit is reasonable, yes. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:11, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
