Hello 2601:5C5:4302:28F0:4117:A71F:47A5:5FDE! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub, as a reply below or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Thanks for your edits. However, you've created some Wikipedia-style stubs like Gilbert (West Virginia) and Pineville (West Virginia). I'm not sure they require disambiguation, but that aside, do you plan to turn these into full articles? Have a look at Wikivoyage:Small city article template, but also Wikivoyage:What is an article. If there's nothing to do, see or eat nor anything special to buy in a little town, it's unlikely to need its own article on this site. Also, if you are taking information from a Wikipedia article, you should mention that in the edit summary you type in the "Summary:" line below your edit screen.

Don't worry too much about most of this, but if you were thinking of creating lots of stub articles, you might want to reconsider, because if they're left as stubs, they may be nominated for deletion. It would be better to edit existing articles and create one article that you work up to usable or guide status, then start another.

Let me know if you have any questions, and Happy Editing!

All the best,
