Welcome
editHello, ChesMartin! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. External links policy
editHi, User:ChesMartin, and thanks for helping! Unfortunately, your link to an unofficial guide to Japan had to be removed. This site's external links policy does not permit links to non-governmental travel guides. If Nagasaki's government has a site that provides information about the O-Kunchi festival, or better yet, if the Suwa Shrine explains it on their site, please link that.
All the best,

- Hi Ikan,
- Thanks for the policy reference, it's been awhile since I've brushed up. I've found that there is an official site for the festival itself (in Japanese, referencing another tourism committee site with information in English)—that seems to be the canonical primary source so I will use that link instead. I'll add a description for the empty Suwa Shrine See listing while I'm at it.
- Terrific!
- All the best,
