Hello Hyodong318! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub, as a reply below or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Thanks for your edits so far! These history milestones are highly encyclopedic, though. Few travelers would care about any of the facts starting with "In the 13th year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1735), the eastern townships were separated to establish Haiyang County (now Haiyang City)."

In terms of districts, make sure you indicate what's interesting about them to travelers. If there is nothing interesting about them to travelers, why do we want a "Districts" section? And the districts map has the names of the districts only in Chinese, so if it's important to know about the districts and where they are, make sure you put the Chinese characters for each one in the list in parentheses after the Romanizations and a space. But again, I'm far from convinced that naming each district is useful to travelers, since most of them seem to just be farmland, based on your descriptions. Laiyang

edit

Thank you for your contributions to this article please correct the following mistakes:

  1. We know that the places listed are in Laiyang City, because the article is called "Laiyang". In English Wikivoyage, it is incorrect to include the city name in addresses in listings, unless the listing is in a different city (i.e., not in Laiyang).
  2. In China articles, we always use the 24-hour clock (09:00-18:00), not the 12-hour clock (9AM-5PM). See the box at the top of Talk:China.
  3. We always include the country code in front of phone numbers, i.e., +86.

Thank you for your correction, I have corrected the error in the article. Hyodong318 (talk) 05:42, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Hyodong318: Please remove "Laiyang City" from the addresses in listings (#1 on the list above). The whole article is about Laiyang, so we do not repeat this information. Ground Zero (talk) 13:17, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
I deleted "Laiyang City" in the article, please check, thank you. Hyodong318 (talk) 06:45, 16 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
