Hello, TimMagee! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.--ϒpsilon (talk) 21:57, 24 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks very much for your work on Monticello (Mississippi)! Small thing, but have a look at Wikivoyage:Links to Wikipedia when you get a chance. Such links are used in limited ways. For a music festival, the link to its own website should be provided, but if you do a full templated listing, you can include Wikidata. Let me know if you have any questions.

All the best,

Hi. I think you must have copied and pasted the description of that establishment from promotional text on their website. Be careful not to do that. I detouted the listing and moved it to the "Do" section. Note that it doesn't have an alternate name, either.

Best,

I did not copy-paste intentionally (I try not to violate copyright law). I did write in the wrong style. I'll try to keep things more "travel guide" and less "advertisement" in the future. Also, I couldn't figure out what happened to the entry so thanks for moving it. TimMagee (talk) 18:35, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
