Running off the screen

edit

Could we maybe lose the links to the tag templates? They make the table run off the side of the screen... Texugo (talk) 15:45, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, working on a wide screen I sometimes forget about this. I would like to keep the template names for a little while until things are sorted out. Maybe an abbreviation would work, as hover mouse-over gives full name?--Traveler100 (talk) 17:14, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Outlines

edit

That sure is a lot of unspecified outlines! I guess outlinecity and outlineregion never really caught on... Texugo (talk) 20:47, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Both of these templates were just created yesterday [1]. sumone10154(talk) 21:41, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Delete/Merge/etc

edit

Why don't we take delete/merge out of the table and give them their own place in an "other status" section below the table, since they are never going to be broken down by article type? This section could include counts for the vfd, merge, style, districtify, districts discussion, and other counts from Category:Articles needing attention`. Texugo (talk) 14:26, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

A delete or merge page does not generally have another article type template, same with stubs. This intention is to find all article pages once so that the two totals of totals (bottom right) are equal. Adding Articles needing attention would start double counting pages. --Traveler100 (talk) 14:51, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Redirects

edit

The number of redirects is not shown on the statistics. I'd be interested to know how many redirects there are, so how easy would it be to add them to the table? --Comment by Selfie City (talk about my contributions) 21:27, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Color changes

edit

So, I changed the colors of some of the "star"-colored backgrounds. However, the graph on the right isn't changing. Is that a mistake on my part, or am I missing something? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:06, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Informative articles

edit

Should the table be updated to include the experimental informative status? JsfasdF252 (talk) 18:54, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Resolving article status count discrepancies

edit
Swept in from the pub

The article status table (with informative articles considered) has some anomalies that haven't been resolved for perhaps many months, if not years:

  • Cabo Froward: Classified as both an itinerary and a destination.
  • European quick reference: Not classified as any type of article, though it could be classified as a travel topic.
  • Floating restaurants and homestays in the Loktak Lake: Classified as both a destination and a travel topic.
  • SL ferry line 80: Classified as both an itinerary and a travel topic.
  • Toronto/Yonge Street: Classified as both an extra region and a travel topic, though there have been plans to convert this article to an itinerary.
  • Continent itineraries: Some of them are considered to be travel topics and itinerary articles, but could the "title article" designation be more appropriate?

How should these articles be dealt with such that they end up being properly categorized? JsfasdF252 (talk) 19:56, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the first one. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 01:00, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
