Talk:Moscow to Urumqi

Good start, looks like it is developing towards a fine article. As a Canadian living in China who has never been to Russia, I am looking forward to reading more, perhaps planning a trip based on it. (WT-en) Pashley 05:41, 23 March 2009 (EDT)

Single entry visa? edit

Hi there,

does anyone have actual information about the direct train Moscoc-Almaty? Is there only a single-entry-visa needed for Russia and Kazhakstan? We start this trip in about two weeks and only have singel-entry. Now we are a bit concerned...

Merge where? edit

This article is currently tagged for a merge to Urumqi, which is remarkably silly. Since that part of the merge suggestion makes no sense, I'm inclined to question the whole suggestion and suggest we should keep this article.

On the other hand, there does seem to be an argument for merging — this is not a particularly well-known or standardised route. However, if it is merged, it should mostly go to Central Asia, perhaps with parts to Urals or parts added into Trans-Siberian Railway as a possible branch off it. Checking, I find the tag has been there for about two years. We should resolve this. Pashley (talk) 15:10, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Eurasia maybe? ϒpsilon (talk) 15:24, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I think the best solution would be to keep the article and improve it, if anyone who knows the route(s) well enough would like to do so, beginning with a route map. It doesn't seem really logical to me to merge this with anything - least of all, such a general article as Eurasia. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:49, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
No further comment in about six weeks. I have removed the tag. Pashley (talk) 02:50, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

So I added an empty go section edit

Is there anybody who might possibly know how to fill it with subsections? Hobbitschuster (talk) 19:35, 23 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
