Talk:Mount Whitney
- Swept in from the pub
I'm sure my work this summer makes it more than just an outline now, but I'm not sure. I've waited these months in the hopes that someone else would do it, but never saw anyone do so.--Jasper Deng (talk) 08:11, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Jasper Deng, do you mean promoting the guide to higher status? You don't have to wait, in principle, you can adjust the status yourself based on given criteria, with exception of star status, which needs a nomination. But if you are not sure, it's good to ask. You can do it for example here or on the discussion page to attract attention of other editors. You've done some good work on the article, surely the status is at least usable now. Is this an article?
editWe don't normally write articles about individual mountain peaks. This doesn't seem to fit WV:WIAA but maybe I'm missing something. Selfie City (talk) 17:51, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Alternative banner for this article?
editI have previously created an alternative banner for this article (which was initially created for the parallel article at the Hebrew Wikivoyage, but I decided to suggest we'll use it here at the English Wikivoyage article as well). Which banner do you prefer that we'll use on the top of this article? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 13:31, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Definitely the new banner. Ground Zero (talk) 18:15, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- New banner is a vast improvement. --Nelson Ricardo (talk) 02:25, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- New banner, no question. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:21, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- New banner, is so much better. SHB2000 (talk) 11:04, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
