Texas is on State Road 89 (Texas Rd). From Stanthorpe, the nearest minor regional centre, travel about 100 km west (should take about 65–70 minutes). The road generally lacks a shoulder, but the road conditions are still mostly suitable to drive 100 km/h.

From Inglewood, Texas is a 55 km drive south (should take roughly 35–40 min).
