Hello, Bram Hartveld! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Thanks for adding eateries in and around Budapest! ARR8 (talk | contribs) 15:24, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for improving Haarlem. One thing I wanted to mention: we usually don't include the name of the city in the address of a listing (see the "address" section at Wikivoyage:Listings#Template_parameters). This is because it's written at the top of the page :). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, ARR8 (talk | contribs) 16:28, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to welcome you, too, and thank you for your contributions. I look forward to seeing more updates to the Netherlands articles. Ground Zero (talk) 21:40, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate your adding information, too. But why did you revert my edit in Haarlem? Was this a mistake? "suitable for children" is not a name, so it can't be an "alt" (=alternate name). I also reverted your unilateral substitution of a very blurry gray image for the pagebanner for the Surabaya article. You would have no way to know this as a new user, but it's accepted practice at Wikivoyage to propose new banners on the talk pages of the relevant articles and have a discussion before a consensus forms around changing or keeping the current pagebanner. somehow the add listing button had disappeared. thats why I revered your change. Your right it was/is not an alternate name—The preceding comment was added by Bram Hartveld (talkcontribs)
Thanks for your reply. It's very easy to revert edits by mistake. I do it, too. On talk pages only, it's customary to "sign" your posts by typing 4 tildes (~) in a row at the end of each post. Anyway, I don't know why the add listing button would disappear, but if you're using a cellphone to edit, there are a lot of problems with cellphone interface. I have trouble editing on my cellphone, and I've been editing on this site for years. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:51, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and sorry, you weren't the one who edited the Surabaya guide. Maybe it's time for me to go to sleep... Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:52, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Linking to my other page

edit

I Was wondering how can I link my usr page to my other urs page in other language? Bram Hartveld (talk) 14:32, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

You can do this by adding the link prefixed with the language code. It will go in the sidebar, under "Languages." I added your nl page to your user page as an example. If you have others, you can add them the same way. ARR8 (talk | contribs) 17:02, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
