Hello, Exec8! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Yes, indeed welcome to Wikivoyage and thanks for starting articles for destinations in the Philippines. I would like you to have a look at the test we have for whether a destination should get it's own article — "can you sleep there"? As you probably know more about the region than I do, you probably know if the cities/towns have some sort of accommodation or not (preferably you should add those hotels/motels/b&b's etc., too). If the destination doesn't have any accommodation, it should generally not get its own article unless there is a very good reason (Angkor Archaeological Park is a famous exception). I'd like to reiterate the comment above - your contributions are appreciated, but you are creating a lot of empty articles about very small places. In their current state it isn't clear that many of these articles should be kept, so you may want to begin adding content to them so that it is clear what there is for a traveler to see and do in these places. If you have questions you can ask them on this talk page or in the Pub. -- Ryan • (talk) • 16:00, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Also please do not create redirect pages that are just using comma rather than brackets. It does not help anyone, the search field will show the page people are looking for without the redirects. --Traveler100 (talk) 17:23, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for adding all the mapframes. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:55, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

And please have a look at Talk:Tabaco as soon as possible. That article has to be deleted for violation of Wikipedia's Creative Commons Copyleft and Wikivoyage's copyleft policy. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:31, 29 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Get in" sections

edit

If you have no idea about specific information for "Get in", just leave it out. It's better to leave out that section rather and leave it to other editors than adding that canned "Buses, jeepneys, and tricycles bound for Cauayan are available in any parts of Metro Manila" wording, which you have even added to locations not in Metro Manila. One page I edited, like Cauayan, has its own airport, plus buses and the Cagayan Valley Road, and it's not all good to add the cookie-cutter wording you used in Metro Manila city pages.--TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 08:51, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
