Hello, Hopilo12! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.

And thank you for creating the Esiẹ article. I've done some small adjustments to it and also moved it to the name with the accent as that seems to be the name that Wikipedia uses. If you're interested, you may also want to join the Wikivoyage:Nigeria Expedition and if you need any help with anything, feel free to ask me, or at the Nigeria cafe. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 10:14, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is an article? edit

Hello, Hopilo12. Please read Wikivoyage:What is an article. Based on both the content of w:Bariga and the meager information you have supplied in an article you started about the town on this site, it seems like there is pretty much nothing to see or do there, so please explain how it fulfills the criteria for having its own article. The grammar school may be of slight interest, but a single listing is not enough for an article. If you know this town well and know a dozen good restaurants, several good clubs to hear music and a few hotels, this could be a viable article. Otherwise, we should consider where it would be best to merge the existing content to and then turn the article into a redirect. But I would really like your input on this.
