Stamp
editCan we add passport stamps of all countries? :-) @SHB2000, @Ikan Kekek, @Ibaman, @The dog2, @LPfi, @Ground Zero. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 22:08, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau don't issue passport stamps anymore. Everything is recorded electronically. Australia also doesn't usually stamp passports anymore, and you have to specifically ask for one. The dog2 (talk) 22:11, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- I guess the US doesn't stamp passports. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 22:21, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- I am not sure that this really belongs in a travel guide. Thos more of a Wikipedia thing, in my opinion. Ground Zero (talk) 22:20, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't know what the travel angle is on this. Of course your passport is usually stamped only when you travel, but if you're traveling for the purpose of getting your passport stamped, you may be disappointed if the Immigration agent decides not to stamp it. - +1. --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 01:51, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Since this page isn't likely to be in scope, would you [Lionel] object if we moved this page to your userspace for it to then be moved to Wikipedia (or Wikibooks with significant adaptations)? --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 11:06, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- That said, Gallery of passport stamps by country or territory already exists, but is incomplete. It could be turned into a Wikibook, but it wouldn't be a "list" kind of book (and I don't exactly get involved with content creation over there to give you detailed advice). --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 11:12, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Do what you think is best. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 13:20, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Done. --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 08:15, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
