Hello, Morgan684! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. You might contribute in Russian over at Russian WV, but here on English WV, the Russian text on your user page should be removed. This not a big deal & not urgent, but please do it. Pashley (talk) 16:21, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Иди переводи.--Morgan684 (talk) 10:25, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • are you understand me, Pashley?--Morgan684 (talk) 12:01, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
No. Pashley (talk) 13:26, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Very, very bad! Well, good enough to translate my words. Because I bother, and you have the honor and conscience to descend. Good?--Morgan684 (talk) 15:59, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Excuse me, but isn't it up to the user him/herself what they put on their user page and in what language? The user space is not an article. We have a couple of users who even have their user names written in non-Latin letters and nobody has objected as far as I know. ϒpsilon (talk) 15:54, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
thank you dear friend ϒpsilon--Morgan684 (talk) 16:01, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
I agree, ϒpsilon. As long as the text isn't in violation of site policies like don't tout, whatever language a user wants to use on their user page is fine, in my opinion, and I don't remember there ever having been a consensus otherwise. So if I'm right, to change that, we would need to debate it and arrive at a new consensus. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:48, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Except for adding a thousand pictures and touting, Wikivoyage:User page help says you're pretty much free to do anything with your user page.
For comparison I remember a case from the Finnish Wikipedia where this user page (maybe not safe for work) was allowed to stay as the user wished after quite a discussion where some people thought it was "against good manners". Heck, I just added some multilingual stuff to my laboratory for translation. ϒpsilon (talk) 18:02, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I was over-reacting.
My personal opinion is that a user page should be at least mainly in English, but that is not policy. My comment above is a suggestion, not a demand or requirement. I do think, though, that it is a good suggestion. Pashley (talk) 19:03, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • please, gentlemen! I will write, which means that the inscription on the Church Slavonic language. This is not advertising; it just tropar, hymn, song. You will see that nothing to worry about.--Morgan684 (talk) 04:13, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • here it is, the approximate translation of the song: \ this is alien for the lawless people to glorify a Beginningless Trinity, which is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, which is a Uncreated Power: because the whole world is contained by small part of God's power \ that's all.--Morgan684 (talk) 05:00, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
