Hello, Muzzleflash! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.--ϒpsilon (talk) 11:56, 4 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Autopatroller

edit

You have well over 100 edits on Wikivoyage, so technically you could become an autopatroller. As long as you stick to this account here, there is no problem with your Wikivoyage account, but it seems that you are blocked indefinitely on WP for sockpuppetry, so I do not plan to give you Wikivoyage autopatroller status yet.

But no worries — your edits have been fine on WV as far as I can tell, and if you continue to make good faith edits I will gladly promote you to autopatroller status. For information about this status, see WV:Autopatrollers. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:18, 4 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea how my editing violated the published policy of "abusively" using multiple accounts on WP. In any case I don't have much interest in figuring it out or disputing it. Muzzleflash (talk) 07:04, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well, generally, wikis don't like people using multiple accounts, and they'll block people indefinitely for doing so. The reason: there are some people who get blocked for vandalism, causing problems, or whatever, and then they'll create a new account to get around the block. But again, as long as you don't create multiple accounts here, I don't think there should be any concerns. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 13:59, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've upgraded you to autopatroller status since you've now made nearly 300 good edits here. Thanks for contributing! --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 00:18, 23 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unilateral redistricting of Beijing

edit

Hi. Thanks for taking action, but it's irregular to act first on districting and never ask questions. Please participate at Talk:Beijing#Maps, districting. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:39, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
