Page banners

edit

Hi Pedelecs, thank you for adding page banners to German articles, but the recommended dimensions for banner images are 2100 x 300 pixels. You'll have to crop the images to aspect ratio (7:1). --Saqib (talk) 23:04, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. Please don't revert when someone has removed a banner for being the wrong size. Yes, some of the images are beautiful, but they must be 7:1 aspect ratio or they will be removed, so rather than reinstating the wrong size image, please crop it and re-upload it. For the several I have removed today, I will be checking when I get home to see if they still need to be cropped and re-uploaded and will do it myself if necessary, but leaving the wrong size banner there is not an option. Thanks! Texugo (talk) 13:13, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hello Pedelecs! I just reverted one page banner due to wrong size, as well. You might get familiar with page banner rules and standards, as well as useful tips here. Danapit (talk) 13:23, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I am sure you are aware of our banner policy. I don't understand why you are ignoring it and continue inserting wrong sized banners. Danapit (talk) 05:59, 5 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
