Hello, Steve Uwimana! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals. Pashley (talk) 21:21, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so on wikivoyage you can create an article? if yes how then i want to know create and edit in order to serve that knowledge with others. then how long will take for knowing to contribute on wikivoyage and serve the knowledge. and if i get that how will i serve them. Find or create a red link -- a link to a nonexistent article -- in some other article. e.g. Burundi has red links for some cities & many national parks. Click on the red link & you get a menu that lets you select article type -- city (including towns), region, park, etc. -- and once you choose, the software creates a new article skeleton with the usual Wikivoyage headings for that type. Click on "publish page" & the article is created.
Then you can add information to expand it into a real article. Pashley (talk) 22:45, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello i have already edit and create the articles especially on our Parks as you have told me. then you can visit what i have done. I created Kibira National Park and I edited Rusizi National Park. So you can visit them and correct me where i commited mistakes, if there will be no mistakes maybe you will permit me to teach others how to create and edit articles on Wikivoyage. Thank you for your time given. Steve Uwimana (talk) 23:38, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I edited Kibira National Park, no big changes just making it match our usual format better. If you go to "View history" on the menu above that article & then "compare selected revisions" you can see exactly what I changed. Pashley (talk) 04:35, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the time given, then i have seen the change you have done, but the question i still have is to add a long picture which is above the article. After that i would like to know if i can help others to contribute on Wikivoyage . Steve Uwimana (talk) 21:26, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
For the banner pictures above articles, I am pretty much a text-only guy & cannot help much. I think it needs to be a 2100x300 pixel image & needs to be uploaded to Commons before it can be used here. See Wikivoyage:Banner Expedition. Pashley (talk) 02:02, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, Then I want to know many things here in Wikivoyage. I think now i can share this knowledge i got here with others? Steve Uwimana (talk) 08:39, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
