Hello, AkbarAkbarii! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Thank you for edits to the Shahkooh article. I have a question, though: which country is it in?

Thanks!

If you don't mind my answering: I did a web search on Golestan Province. It's in Caspian Iran. However, the question I have is whether Shahkooh merits its own article. Is there anything to say about the village other than that it's on an interesting road and has great Internet speed? AkbarAkbarii, do you think Shahkooh passes the test at Wikivoyage:What is an article? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:11, 20 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I understand. I can help you along the way.
And when it comes to inserting images, here's the idea for what you do:
[[File:(insert image name here).jpg|thumb|right|300px]]

You can add this to the talk page of the article, or here, and I can copy it into the article for you. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:35, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Events" text

edit

I've been improving the grammar and making this section clearer. I want to make sure that it is still accurate. Does this look right?

Norouz (Iranian new year): at the start of spring (March 20), you can see nature, snow, flowers, and new blooms. This is when winter and spring meet.

Ashoura: like in other Iranian settlements, residents of Shahkooh mourn during these days (the first 10 days of Muharram) and special cuisine and traditions make this the most important Islamic event. Old Shahkooh Hosseinieh, New Hosseinieh, and Shahkooh Jama Mosque are religious places.

Other days of the calendar, like Ramadan month in summer (because this village, due to its elevation, is cool even in summer) are popular.

Thanks for continuing to contribute. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:42, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
