No page protections. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 23:37, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

https://en.m.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Hausa_phrasebook The correct spelling is Assalamu Alaikum, not salama alaikum. Secondly some of the Nigerian information are not added. Bello Na'im (talk) 06:42, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Done the first one at Special:Diff/4257930/4284049. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:45, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Good, remain the other one. Bello Na'im (talk) 06:51, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Why aren't you able to edit the Hausa phrasebook? What error message are you getting, or what does it do when you try to edit? Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:06, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Cities lists

edit

I reverted your additions of Abuja and Lagos to Africa#Cities. These lists tend to grow indefinitely unless cured, so we do not make exceptions to the rule of 7±2 items. If a city is added, some other city has to go, and this has to be discussed on the talk page beforehand. The cities are still found in the 7±2 cities in the country (or, for less important cities, region) articles. –LPfi (talk) 19:43, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, can you please me the rules. Bello Na'im (talk) 06:56, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well... we don't really have any rules on this, but rather the 7+2 is just a guideline on how things must be formatted. In general, anything that is a non-bottom region can only have 9 listings, for both the cities and the other destinations. But there's no such restriction for bottom level regions (the longest I've seen is 32 cities here). So a page like Nigeria can only have 9 cities, but other pages like Oyo State can have as much cities listed as possible. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 07:02, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
