Sincere advice on articles edit

I read that your group has a guide on Jeju, it's a complete guide and I think it will be of great help to people who want to visit Jeju. I see that the listings in your attractions are very comprehensive, but I think that perhaps adding detailed latitude and longitude to the attractions would make it better for visitors to find the places they want to visit. And the improved latitude and longitude would make the map look much richer. Lqy328 (talk) 06:46, 4 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

We discussed that for another island. The consensus is to keep coordinates of attractions off the region map in general (there may be exceptions, which should probably be discussed on the region talk page). Attractions should not have listings on the region pages, but users interested in the attraction should look at the lowest-level destination page (city etc.) instead. That way we don't have to maintain the same information on two pages, the interested traveller can see nearby restaurants etc., and we avoid cluttering the region page (the cities are broken out from the region for a reason).
The map might look richer, but there is a severe risk of it looking cluttered. The markers for individual attractions would overlap markers for the cities where they are located, making it much more difficult to use the map.

I thought it was okay to erase it because it already seemed to reflect the feedback. I won't do that from now on. I'm sorry.Hojong9474 (talk) 15:39, 14 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
