Basically, the site is a free worldwide travel guide run by the same foundation as Wikipedia and several other sites. It is an open wiki; anyone can edit & contributions are encouraged. Links above have some of the details on its policies, editing basics, etc. Some of the history is at Wikivoyage and Wikitravel.

Parts of the site are excellent, almost certainly the best guide available for some places. Coverage is other areas is out-of-date or incomplete, though. Pashley (talk) 14:18, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

You are behaving very strangely. I also see from your contribution history at Wikipedia that your MO is to pester the folks over there with similar inane questions, comments, and repeated requests to "tell me more about this website". Be assured that wasting our time with trolling of that nature will not be looked upon kindly. You were warned on Wikipedia as well about using your user talk page as a chat log.
