Detailed regional categories at the top of the page

In short, Ya'an is marked {{IsPartOf|East Sichuan}} at the end of the article, while East Sichuan is marked {{IsPartOf|Sichuan}} and so on and so forth, and that's how we have the "breadcrumb trail" at the top of the pages. Vidimian (talk) 15:08, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit conflict] See Special:Diff/4737276/4737295 for how to do it. The IsPartOf template is included in the article templates, such as the one you get by clicking "City" (in black, above the edit window) at the page you get when starting a new article. It seems you started the article without the templates, adding the section headers later, which is OK, but then somebody needs to add things like this. –LPfi (talk) 15:14, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello LIYULUN! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

• External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.

• stub tagging → article status

About what not to include in listings: We don't include default address information. So, for example, in the Ya'an article, all of this should be omitted (and where used, deleted): Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, China. Other things to delete - and which I in fact deleted and you re-added, thereby edit warring - include the following: "Holiday Inn Express Ya'an provides accommodation located in Ya'an." (Obviously, or it wouldn't be called Holiday Inn Express Ya'An City Center or be in the location you indicated.) "The nearest airport is Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, 127 km from Holiday Inn Express Ya'an." (Completely irrelevant and not specific to a hotel, but in fact in violation of Wikivoyage:Don't tout, another link you should read.)

Can you please edit the article suitably, so that I or another experienced user doesn't waste time edit warring with you? Also, note the edit summary I wrote for you, which is on the left side of the linked page, and which you can also see if you view the article's history.

Article Feedback and Suggestions

The editing is very good, I've never been to Ya'an but I feel it's a great city! But the only downside is the lack of pictures, leaving me to imagine these places or google for images to see them.
