Road Convention edit

Not sure where you plan to go with this article. Suggest that most subjects will be covered by in the country articles. Cannot see how an overview will be useful, would be too generic. --Traveler100 (talk) 08:46, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

It looks like a joke article:
...or by cognizant biological organisms such as humans, sheep, deer, moose, squirrels, and bovines. [emphasis added]
If you think bovines recognize any convention of roads, you have never been to a country where cows like to lie on the highway in the hot season, and as for deer, I personally saw one suddenly dart into a road in front of a car whose driver couldn't do anything but crash head-on into it, as that was the safest course of action. I wish deer were in fact smarter about road traffic, as witnessing that incident was traumatic for my girlfriend and me, who were going in the opposite direction, and doubtless for the driver who hit the deer.
Rk725, if you mean to write a serious article, tell us now. Otherwise, haha and I think it is a good speedy deletion candidate. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:12, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
This is meant to be a serious article. I've put the parameter of "road convention" to include cognizant biological organisms such as humans, sheep, deer, moose, squirrels, and bovines to show the difference between "laws" and "conventions". It can be debated whether sheep, deer, moose, squirrels, and bovines should be included. BTW, re: Travel100, I have been to places where cows lie in the road, as well as darting deers and mooses. Also, can someone please point to "the proper way" to edit this page, or is using markup language the preferred way? rk725 27 January 2016
I would suggest expanding the Driving article and its sub-pages such as Driving in China. --Traveler100 (talk) 13:20, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
As a side note, we also have an article for Animal collisions. ϒpsilon (talk) 09:43, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
