Thanks for helping out with our coverage of Antigua Guatemala! I did a lot of work myself sprucing up that article before it was Destination of the Month earlier this year, but I had to use mostly information I found online. It's great to see contributions from folks who've actually been there themselves!
Listing templates
editHi. I appreciate your helpful edits, but it looks like you're removing a lot of tags from a listing template here. Please never do that! Just leave blank the fields you don't use. The fields you deleted will need to be restored eventually, thereby creating more work for someone. Thanks.

Thanks, I was not aware of this. At the same the (visual) editor on the wikivoyage website knows about all the fields of a template, so most people would not have not to add them back in manually. Fyi, I found the "!" in your message a bit too strong.

- Sorry if I offended, and thanks for reading. I haven't used the visual editor. You're saying there's a quick way to restore all the fields without doing it manually? Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:32, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
Article Status
editI saw that you removed the 'outline' template from the Isla del Tigre article that you created. You are right (at least in my opinion) that the article is probably more than an outline by now. However instead of removing the template, you should replace it with a template for the next higher category 'usable'. You can find more information on this as well as the criterias for each status for City articles on the page on Wikivoyage:City_guide_status. Drat70 (talk) 05:08, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

Population figures for Nicaragua
editYou are most likely right on Masaya. Having been to Estelí, Rivas, San Carlos, El Castillo, León, Granada and San Juan del Sur myself (and of course Managua), I'd say that Granada and León are both bigger than Masaya or at least feel that way. However, Masaya in essence functions as a suburb of Managua and therefore its official population figures may well be quite high. Also, Nicaraguan population figures are very confusing as the "city" population is often conflated with the "municipio" and "departamento" figures. For San Carlos for example, I have heard figures ranging all the way from 15 000 to 60 000 (though if you ask me 25 000 is the upper bound for anything sensibly defined as "San Carlos itself"). At any rate thanks for your edits. Hobbitschuster (talk) 20:18, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- According to wikipedia, the department, municipio, urban area, and city center has a smaller population than the León counterparts. Assuming that Managua is the first for all of these, Masaya can not be second by any rate; anyway, even if it was true, it's misleading. Thanks for confirming that you had the same feeling about the place. Saraedum (talk) 21:10, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
Autopatroller
editI've made you an Autopatroller — probably an overdue step, which is taken whenever someone makes consistently good edits over time and has shown they are trustworthy and don't need any close supervision by admins and other experienced users. Thanks a lot for all the improvements you've made and are continuing to make to this site.
All the best,
