VFD discussion
editAn almost empty region article within Southern Chile. Appears to be a administrative division rather than a travel relevant one. Should it be deleted or merged and redirected? Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:58, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- Speedy keep. a), lack of content is not a valid reason for VfD-ing an article; b), doing so would require us to redesign the breadcrumb chain to figure out what category Concepción belongs in; and c), we don't delete real places anyway. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 17:09, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- It's already listed under "cities" in Southern Chile - whose subsections are imho all superfluous at this point... Hobbitschuster (talk) 17:17, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- Keep, pending discussion of what to do about all of the subregions in Southern Chile. -Shaundd (talk) 22:46, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- Keep per Wikivoyage:Deletion policy#Deleting vs. redirecting. -- Ryan • (talk) • 23:27, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- Exactly. The title could be redirected to another article, but it shouldn't be simply deleted along with its history, such as it is. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:47, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- I agree. Pashley (talk) 12:27, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- Keep, I have reorganized the articles in Southern Chile so they are under their sub-regions. When you look at the numbers it is a debatable on as to whether these regions should exist or not, but all under Southern Chile would probably be too many. --Traveler100 (talk) 14:48, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
