Talk:Maria Island National Park

edit

Title. This one with more focus on the probation station which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pinging @AlasdairW: as you cropped the current banner. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 23:03, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Banner 1
I don't have a strong opionon on this and I haven't been to Maria Island. The new banner is a good view which wasn't available when I made the existing one, but the existing banner may give a better general feel for the island. AlasdairW (talk) 23:21, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I had thought that too. The current banner seems a bit more dull, but with more focus on the UNESCO WHS bit, while the current one seems more vivid and bright but with less focus on the UNESCO WHS. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 23:27, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'd sacrifice general view and go with 1 because look better. But what concerns me a little is if the page title in pagebanner overlaps the house in 1. --Onwa (talk) 18:16, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I prefer the current banner. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 15:43, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
So this banner change is   Not done. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:31, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Banner 0 is better; Banner 1 is too dark and looks tilted. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:12, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@AlasdairW and Ikan Kekek I used the alternate one in the newly created Eastern Tasmania article as part of the new region structure so the new one has good use. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:14, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Rename to Maria Island National Park and convert to a park article? edit

As 100 percent of this park is a national park, would it make sense to categorize it as a park article as opposed to a ruralarea? --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 04:54, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
