Stealing photos?

I reverted your addition of a thumbnail with watermarks that you added to Heyuan and requested deletion of all your uploads on Wikimedia Commons. If you are grabbing photos from websites, especially "copyright, all rights reserved" sites, and uploading them to Commons as "own work," please stop! If you actually shot any of those photos, please defend yourself on the deletion request threads. Jiaaaay, maybe I'm mistaken, but could you tell us where you're getting content like this from? If those are your words, why are you putting content that belongs in "See", "Buy" and "Eat" in the "Do" section? Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:56, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your work improving Wikivoyage's coverage of Chinese cities! It's great to see more information being added to these articles.

I'm interested to know more about where the information comes from. My main experience with Meizhou cuisine is stuffed tofu (酿豆腐), braised pork (扣肉), and sticky-rice dumplings (粄). I'm unfamiliar with 客家梅子汤 and 牛杂粿汁, and I can't find much information about them online, so I'm curious – do you know these foods from personal experience in Meizhou, or from a reference source that I haven't been able to find? —Granger (talk · contribs) 02:37, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
