MAYUXUAN
Hello MAYUXUAN! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → Article status
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
Thanks for your work on the Laiwu article! Note that every article has to use a standard article format. For that article, the Wikivoyage:Small city article template should be used. We also avoid an encyclopedic tone in this travel guide. Please let us know if you have any questions.
All the best,
Suggestions and feedback on wikivoyage Laiwu page editing
editHello, I read the Laiwu page you edited and would like to give some feedback and suggestions here, hoping to help you.I think Laiwu's page editing classification is very clear, but if you can add some photos appropriately, you may have a better visual experience. In addition, I think it may be better if the introduction of the museum can be supplemented more completely.Ddccxl (talk) 06:18, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for adding information to this article. In some of your changes, you have made errors. Please make the following corrections to your work:
- In Wikivoyage, we write prices in China articles like this: "¥45", not "CNY45".
- In China articles, we use the 24-hour clock: we write "09:00-17:00". In countries that use the 12-hour clock, we write: "9AM-5PM". Don't mix the two styles by writing "9:00am-17:00pm". That is confusing.
- This article is about Rizao, Shandong Province. We don't repeat that information in each listing.

- There are other errors as well. For instance, when adding a listing on English Wikivoyage, we always put the English names first. The Chinese names belong in the 'Alt' (alternative name) section of the listings. Also, tourist attractions should be listed under See or Do, not at the top of the article. - Sorry for not replying to you in time. I have modified all the questions in the list. MAYUXUAN (talk) 15:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your correction MAYUXUAN (talk) 10:36, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- @MAYUXUAN: are you going to correct your errors in the article, or are you expecting other editors to correct them? We are all volunteers. There is no Wikivoyage staff who are paid to correct your mistakes. Ground Zero (talk) 02:53, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
@MAYUXUAN: because you are ignoring my requests to fix your errors, are are continuing to make the same error (repeating the city and province names in listings), I will block you from editing the next time you do this. This may seem extreme, but I have no other way of getting your attention. Ground Zero (talk) 02:19, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't notice the problem with the cities in the list. I am correcting all the mistakes in my previous edits, and I will make sure I never make this mistake again. MAYUXUAN (talk) 02:46, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- And you can fix the time formatting you. As I wrote above:

Hi MAYUXUAN and thanks for your additions to Rizhao. I noticed that you removed a bunch of listings in this edit a few days ago. Why was that? Are these attractions closed or not worth recommending, or did you remove them by accident? —Granger (talk · contribs) 14:44, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, the reason for the deletion is that the information and location of several lists have issues. I will promptly add those lists after making the modifications. Thank you for your reminder! MAYUXUAN (talk) 14:49, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds good, thanks for clarifying. —Granger (talk · contribs) 15:11, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
