Hello, Perevodchik2! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.

Thank you for working on translated the Lalsk article from Russian! We are weak in coverage of many Russian destinations on this site, so whatever help you can give us would be great! Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:48, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

"Off the Beaten Path" edit

Wow, you've done great work on translating the Lalsk article.

Now that it's at guide status, it could be nominated for our main page features that take place each month as "off the beaten path." What do you think of this idea? I don't mind either way, but if it were featured, it would reach a larger audience and be there for a whole month. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 18:06, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sure, it would be fun to see it on the main page! I'm going to translate two more articles right in that same region that share the theme of lost Russian merchant towns with pretty architecture, so there will be more to click through. Perevodchik2 (talk) 19:32, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'd be in favour of this; we hardly ever feature Russian places, since the articles on that country tend to be poor, so it's excellent that you're here translating the fine work of the ru.wikivoyage team.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 20:05, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Also, it would be nice to see some major Russian city as DotM. We have featured a couple of articles about places in Russia, but all of them have been smaller ones Off the Beaten Path. (Yeah, and of course Russian phrasebook and Trans-Siberian Railway as Featured Travel Topics). Ypsilon (talk) 20:10, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Perevodchik2: Sounds great! Every article you translate is a great benefit to Wikivoyage. I also agree with the comments above. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:50, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Autopatroller edit

One of our administrators assigned you to the category "autopatroller." Don't worry, this isn't a concern or important change; it just changes the ways your edits are monitored.

Thanks again for your contributions. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 18:09, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
