Cactusflies22
Hello, Cactusflies22! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.
In response to your post at the Pub, I would like to work with you, but this is a two-way street, and there needs to be some level of trust. Firstly, you must commit to using just one account (this one) to edit Wikivoyage, and no other. Second, I need a sign that you will read and reply to messages sent to you. Please answer this message below in whichever way you like.
Just so you know, I live in the UK and it is late here, so I won't be online for several hours after now, but I will put your user page on my watchlist and look for your reply in the morning. Looking forward to hearing from you.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 22:54, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- Okay im willing to work with. Cactusflies22 (talk) 04:44, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- Excellent! My suggestion is to pick an existing article for a place you know well, maybe your home town or a city you have visited, and try to improve the content. When I first joined Wikivoyage, I edited the article about my home town (Farnborough), and it’s now a very good, albeit not perfect, article. If you do decide to work on your local area, the help page Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals should give you some ideas.
- So that is one suggestion I have for you. But do you have any questions about Wikivoyage? Is there anything I can do to help you get started? Let me know. Best wishes, ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 06:16, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Don, have you edited here before sometime in the past, in late 2015 or so? :) --Ypsilon (talk) 11:51, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
Get around
editDid you notice that like every other destination article, Skowhegan has a "Get around" section? If it's in any way incomplete or inaccurate, edit it. Don't start "Getting around in [name of small city]" articles. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:04, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

- If you have mental health issues, you need to work them out with a qualified health care professional, not here. Wikipedia is not therapy and neither is Wikivoyage. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 04:08, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
