how to register to travdl to San Jose from Batangas POrt
Asked by: 110.54.241.190 00:17, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- Which San Jose? There are several, including seven in the Philippines; see linked article for a list.
- Assuming you mean the one in Batangas Province, see San_Jose_(Batangas)#Get_in for ways to get there. I've recently travelled Lemery-Lipa without needing any special permission, but I was in a private vehicle & do not know the rules for public transit. Certainly you need a face mask & probably face shield as well. Check the provincial government site for details. Pashley (talk) 03:43, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- Some people, such as Filipinos who have been working abroad, are required to take a COVID test and/or quarantine on arrival in the country. I think this applies to some inter-province travel as well. There are several guides online & last time I checked (a month ago) they did not agree all points. One is here. Travel problem
Hi I need to now how long it would take to come from Russia to S.A. in ladysmith how long will it take —The preceding comment was added by Simangele Mgaga (talk • contribs) 08:17, 14 March 2021
- We may not have anyone with knowledge of that specific route, but you could try looking at a flight aggregator such as Kayak to get an idea. Ladysmith Airport apparently doesn't have commercial flights, so flying to Johannesburg or Durban may be a better bet. —Granger (talk · contribs) 10:34, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- It would also help to know from where in Russia (the largest country on Earth) the journey originates.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 11:01, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Simangele Mgaga: Your user page says that you're aged 12. Your parent or guardian should be involved in the planning of your journey. --Nelson Ricardo (talk) 11:19, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- They might be asking for reasons other than personal travel -- say, to write a story? It's perfectly common for children to be curious about things they don't personally do. (It might be a better world if it were more common for adults.) Vaticidalprophet (talk) 11:31, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- As well, long-distance travel during the current pandemic isn't a wise choice and involves extra hassle and in some cases not allowed at all.
- But to reply to your question: it depends on where in Russia you start, it's the world largest's country as you may know. If you start in the capital Moscow, 24 hours is probably enough. I think there are no direct flights between Russia and South Africa, so the straightest route would be via the Middle East (for example Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha) to Johannesburg and the you would continue by bus to Ladysmith. On the other hand if you start elsewhere in Russia you need to get to Moscow first, or alternatively fly via Beijing in China to Johannesburg - either way it will take more than 24 hours. --Ypsilon (talk) 15:54, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

Daufuskie Island
I understand that Daufuskie Island has no cars and the only way to the island is by boat. If I rent a house on the beach side and the ferry drops me off on the inland side, how do I get to the rental? There are apparently no taxis (or any cars of any kind) on the island. Asked by: 97.82.165.112 14:58, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- Can you get a bike on the ferry? It seems to be 5–7 km to the beach, depending on where your rental is. I also suppose there is some kind of transport – the road network seems to hint at that. I'd ask your landlord-to-be. Wikipedia says the locals use golf carts and bicycles, and that there also are some regular vehicles. –LPfi (talk) 16:36, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- The owner or manager of the rental house should be able to provide some guidance. Ground Zero (talk) 16:50, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- According to the ferry website there are bikes and golf carts to rent and you can take your bike on the ferry for $8. Daufuskie Transit run something similar to a taxi. Also see . AlasdairW (talk) 21:44, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
