Copy request for Rename Justme to JuliasTravels

Sorry guys, I got confused with the whole renaming thing :-) I posted a request on meta [9] to transfer all old edits of my old name Justme on WT to my new name here, should that have been on this page? I did already go through this cross reference thing on Wikivoyage before the move, but now "Justme" doesn't seem to exist. At the IRC channel yesterday I was advised to create a new name and post a request on meta with a new cross reference to WT, but now I'm in doubt if I did the right thing :-) I don't particularly mind which username I end up with, it would just be nice to have my old edits back. As you noted, you already did cross-verification; that page was moved from WV-general to meta:Wikivoyage/Migration/New policies/Cross-identification of accounts/Verify#User:Justme. But it looks like you never edited at WV before we moved to WMF, so your account didn't get transferred -- there were no edits to transfer. Your old contributions are available under User:(WV-en) Justme. If you'd like to use User:JuliasTravels, we can do that, but if you'd like to keep User:Justme, please create that account and let us know. Help migrating user '(WT-en) BigPeteB' to 'BigPeteB'

Hi, I'm totally confused by this process. Please help.

My WikiTravel username was BigPeteB. On Wikipedia I'm Bigpeteb. My WikiVoyage account appears to be (WT-en) BigPeteB as expected. I just created a WikiMedia account BigPeteB, but I can't figure out how to merge it with the migrated WikiTravel account.

Let me know what steps I need to take to provide verification, if any.

Wikitravel is a completely separate site, managed by the commercial company Internet Brands, and so it is up to you what you do with your account there. The content on Wikivoyage was imported from the freely-licensed data that you (and others) contributed to Wikitravel, and all that the "merge" process has done is ensure that those contributions that were imported from your Wikitravel account are now attributed to your Wikimedia account (since you have proven that the same person owns both accounts). You are welcome to continue contributing to Wikitravel (although any new contributions to Wikitravel will NOT be copied here), to contribute to Wikivoyage, or to contribute to both. Unfortunately, we bureaucrats have no way of verifying what email address you have on file for each account. Even moreso, however, this page is not for merging WMF accounts -- that is, merging your Wikivoyage account with your global Skiwi account. Try going to Special:MergeAccount and see if that does it.
